Job Summary
This role is ideal for an ambitious Electrical Engineer looking to advance technology within the maritime sector, specifically focusing on shipbuilding and marine technology projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing new construction projects regarding cost, deadlines, and quality, creating detailed specifications, and coordinating engineering efforts. The engineer will work closely with the Research and Development department, manage supplier selection and guidance, and oversee the construction process from start to commissioning and final customer handover. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, coupled with professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably within shipbuilding. The position offers an attractive opportunity to work on exciting projects for renowned developers, backed by a permanent contract and flexible working hours.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechatronic Systems, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering
- Professional experience in shipbuilding (preferred)
- Initial experience in project execution (advantageous)
