Job Summary

This role involves the crucial development and design of electromechanical assemblies and wiring harness technology, primarily within the vehicle engineering sector. The designer will be responsible for the 3D routing of cables within vehicles, including the construction of necessary brackets, cable ducts, and protective elements. A key part of the daily work includes conducting installation space analyses (Bauraumuntersuchungen), evaluating test reports related to various environmental conditions, and coordinating spatial layouts in both 2D and 3D. The position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable field, coupled with initial or several years of experience in electromechanical or wiring harness design. Proficiency in CAD software such as Siemens NX, Inventor, or Catia is essential, and good English skills are desirable.
