Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious HIL/SIL Test Engineer focused on developing and validating control units for major OEMs and suppliers in the automotive industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing test systems, configuring bus communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet), and setting up Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) simulation environments. The engineer will translate customer requirements into comprehensive test processes, plans, and automated tests, while collaborating closely with various departments on concept implementation. Key requirements include a degree in electrical engineering or a related field, initial experience in testing and bus communication, and strong programming skills, ideally in C++ and a common scripting language. This position offers the chance to take ownership of complex development projects and advance technologies in the automotive sector.
