Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Commissioning Technician to manage the technical execution and timely completion of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC/HGÜ) plant commissioning worldwide. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing integration tests and functional checks on HVDC control technology (C&P hardware and software) within the test center, and planning and evaluating workshop acceptance tests with subcontractors. A critical component of the role is the technical, timely, and economical commissioning of HVDC/HGÜ systems on site, requiring extensive domestic and international travel, including potential long-term assignments on construction sites or offshore platforms. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical or Energy Technology, strong knowledge of high-voltage technology, control/protection systems, and proficiency in relevant tools like MATLAB/SIMULINK or Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7.
