Job Summary

This Senior Cloud Architect role focuses on developing and implementing comprehensive cloud architecture strategies for a global leader in engineering and IT. A core part of the role involves designing and optimizing highly available, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on automation. You will be responsible for implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, including the development and maintenance of Terraform modules for standardized cloud components. Furthermore, the role requires establishing robust Cloud Governance policies, ensuring strict compliance, implementing security controls, and integrating configuration management with CI/CD pipelines in close collaboration with the DevOps team. Ideal candidates must hold an Engineering degree in IT or a related field, possess several years of experience managing complex IT projects, and be fluent in both German and English.
