Job Summary

This role is ideal for an Electrical Engineer or Technician passionate about secondary systems within power supply infrastructure, joining Schmitt Engineering as a reliable industry partner. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of secondary technology projects across low, medium, and high-voltage networks, serving clients in industry, energy supply, and infrastructure sectors. Key tasks include detailed project planning, engineering, and concept creation for protection, control, guidance, and network technology. You will dimension critical components like cables and fuses, create precise circuit diagrams according to DIN and IEC standards, and manage interface planning and cable list generation. Successful candidates must hold an Electrical Engineering degree or Technician qualification, possess strong knowledge of electrical networks, and have experience utilizing CAE software such as ENGINEERING BASE or EPLAN. The role requires excellent communication skills and a highly results-oriented, independent working style, offering an unlimited contract and varied projects.
