Job Summary
This crucial role involves leading the establishment and coordination of an Energy Management System (EMS) within the Weingarten city administration. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for setting up organizational structures for the EMS, managing large-scale renovation, conversion, and new construction projects related to utilities and electrical engineering, and optimizing energy procurement through invoice controlling. Key tasks include conducting site inspections, cataloging energy optimization measures, and ensuring EMS integration into all relevant modernization projects, including buildings, street lighting, and the vehicle fleet. Candidates must possess a technical university degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, strong expertise in electrical and safety technology, and proficiency with German public procurement regulations (VOB/VOL/HOAI). This is a challenging, full-time, three-year fixed-term project position offering attractive compensation and flexible working options, ideal for a self-starter with strong organizational and negotiation skills.

Education
University degree (Diploma FH, Bachelor, or Master) in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification (State-certified Technician or Master Craftsman)
Experience

- Experience in coordinating and leading large-scale renovation, conversion, and new construction projects related to utility and electrical engineering
- Professional experience with tendering processes and contract awarding
- Experience with energy efficiency optimization measures
