Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced Solution Architect to drive the design and implementation of complex IT system architectures, primarily within the context of military and critical infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include the detailed analysis and refinement of technical requirements, translating them into comprehensive IT concepts (rough, detailed, and operational), and developing system architectures using modeling tools like UML and NAF. The architect will also be crucial in defining IT security concepts (e.g., BSI-Grundschutz) and providing expert technical consultation to internal teams, project partners, and clients. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, extensive practical experience in IT system design, and deep knowledge of Requirements Engineering (IREB). Familiarity with military IT systems (IT-SysBw, FMN) and tactical communication technologies (SATCOM, LTE/5G) is essential. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Information Technology, Information and Communication Technology, or comparable training
Experience
- Extensive professional experience in IT system design and system architecture development
- Professional experience in Requirements Engineering/Management (IREB)
- Familiarity with military IT projects (IT-SysBw) and IT guidelines for the armed forces
- Experience with Federated Mission Networking (FMN)
- Experience in the creation of IT technical concepts and system documentation
