Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer focused on creating and maintaining electrical documentation and control systems. Key responsibilities include independently generating and updating circuit diagrams, layout plans, schematic diagrams, and fluid plans using EPLAN Electric P8. The engineer will be responsible for planning and dimensioning electrotechnical components like sensors, actuators, and contactors, ensuring strict compliance with relevant electrical norms and guidelines. Furthermore, the role involves creating and updating comprehensive plant documentation, such as handbooks and operating instructions, participating in quality assurance documentation (test specifications, protocols), and supporting projects from initial concept through commissioning. This position offers a full-time, permanent contract in Jena and requires strong collaboration with mechanical, PLC programming, and project management teams.
