Job Summary

This permanent, full-time Measurement Technician role in Bochum involves critical quality assurance tasks for series production, focusing primarily on 3D metrology of wheelset components. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating and working on the Zeiss 3-D measuring machine, evaluating complex 3D measurement data, and performing assessments necessary for initial part releases. A core function of the role is the preparation and execution of First Article Inspections (FAIs). Candidates must possess specific technical training, ideally as a Cutting Machine Operator or Technician, coupled with the ability to measure accurately within micrometers (μm). Success in this position requires professional experience handling precision measuring instruments and proficiency with specialized software, including Calypso, SAP (basic knowledge), and the Microsoft Office suite.
