Job Summary

This role offers a talented Financial Accountant the opportunity to join a renowned metrology company in Ulm on a temporary basis. The daily responsibilities focus heavily on the core accounting processes, including the verification, posting, and booking of all transactions, alongside monthly account reconciliation and general ledger maintenance. A significant part of the job involves preparing VAT pre-registrations, statistical reports, and travel expense reports. The accountant will actively contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements, assist in reporting to management, and handle preparatory tasks for the annual closing. A key component of the role is active participation in the optimization and digitalization of accounting processes. Candidates must possess successful commercial training or an equivalent degree in economics focusing on finance, coupled with multiple years of relevant experience, and strong proficiency in German and MS Office.
