Job Summary

This permanent position seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer specializing in plant and machine construction to join an innovative team in Bochum. The core responsibilities involve creating and maintaining detailed circuit and wiring diagrams, as well as parts lists, primarily utilizing EPLAN Electric P8. You will be instrumental in the planning and design of electrical components and control cabinets for complex plant projects, managing the process from initial concept through to manufacturing readiness. Collaboration is key, requiring close coordination with mechanical, control, and assembly departments, alongside the selection and specification of electrical equipment based on technical and economic criteria. Candidates must possess a background in Electrical Engineering (Technician or degree), several years of professional experience in electrical design, and excellent proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8, coupled with strong knowledge of relevant industry norms.
