Job Summary

This role is central to the growing global Lubricant Additives Business, focusing on high-performance lubricants, specifically the Anderol® line used in industrial applications like air compressors and vacuum pumps. The Technology Manager will be instrumental in building the global competence center for finished lubricants in Mannheim, Germany. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing new lubricant formulations, analyzing technical data to enhance product performance, and implementing new testing methods compliant with ISO, DIN, and ASTM standards. The position requires close interaction with sales teams, customers, and suppliers, providing technical solutions and converting technical data into commercial marketing materials. This is an experienced role offering high autonomy, with the potential to evolve into a hybrid position combining formulation work with mobile technical service, involving approximately 30% travel. Candidates must possess professional experience in lubricants or lubricant additives and strong communication skills in both German and English.
