Job Summary

Join Theben Smart Energy, the innovation hub of Theben AG, to develop premium software solutions driving the digitalization of the energy transition. This role focuses on modern Embedded Linux systems, contributing to increased energy efficiency and sustainable energy use. Day-to-day tasks involve developing and integrating embedded software using modern C++, working on kernel-near components, interfaces, and drivers, and optimizing performance and memory. A key focus is implementing robust security mechanisms, including cryptographic procedures, TLS/PKI, Secure Boot, and BSI-compliant protocols. You will also build and automate CI/CD pipelines for C++ build, test, and deployment. The ideal candidate has excellent C++ and Linux skills, experience with embedded systems and cross-compiling, and a passion for security and automation. This is a full-time, permanent position offering flexibility, an open team environment, and work on future-proof technologies in the Smart Energy sector.
