Job Summary
This role involves serving as a Certified Engineering Technician within the municipal utility services, focusing on the autonomous planning and supervision of construction and maintenance projects, particularly within the fields of water supply and wastewater disposal. Key responsibilities include providing technical advice to operational management, collaborating with engineering firms, and managing project budgets, costs, and timelines. The technician will also be responsible for water quality management, updating inventory plans using GIS, and reviewing construction and fee invoices. Candidates must possess a qualification as a Certified Technician, preferably specialized in Civil Engineering (Tiefbau), and demonstrate strong teamwork, communication skills, and proficiency in standard IT applications.
