Job Summary
The State Road Construction Agency (LfS) is seeking dedicated Project Controllers to drive the implementation of the ambitious Cycling Infrastructure Plan for the Saarland region. This role involves acting as the primary contact for local districts and municipalities, providing expert support, and managing the planning processes for cycling infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, conducting budget control in accordance with HOAI guidelines, managing quality assurance, and preparing and executing public procurement procedures (GWB, VgV, HVA). Successful candidates should hold a degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on transport and infrastructure, or a related field such as Urban or Regional Planning. The position requires strong negotiation skills, cost awareness, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. This is a full-time, permanent position offering flexible working hours and comprehensive training, making it suitable for both experienced professionals and career starters.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Diploma/Bachelor) in Civil Engineering (preferably Transport and Infrastructure focus), Geography, Construction, Spatial, Transport, Urban, or Regional Planning, or comparable fields; alternatively, eligibility for the general higher administrative service.
Experience
- Professional experience in the specified area is beneficial but not mandatory
- Readiness to present projects in public committees
- Experience in self-reliant and independent work
