Job Summary
This role is for an engaged Service Technician based in the Berlin service center, specializing in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of cashless payment and operating systems, often integrated with contactless employee IDs. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing and commissioning cash register and operating systems, configuring payment components, and performing detailed maintenance, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting. The technician will also provide crucial technical support to customers, both on-site and remotely/via telephone, and meticulously document all service operations. Key requirements include a completed electrical engineering education, multi-year professional experience in technical service, and familiarity with current operating systems (e.g., Windows 10) and IP-based networks. Experience with IT and Linux is a plus. This position offers a flexible flextime model, attractive compensation, and a hybrid work structure combining field service, office work, and home office, along with a company car and phone.
