Job Summary

This pivotal role involves developing innovative and effective pharmaceutical supply strategies to ensure efficient medicine and vaccine provision in Lower Saxony. The Strategic Consultant will be responsible for creating selective contracts with service providers and pharmaceutical companies, conducting market observation, and maintaining stakeholder relationships to derive strategic recommendations. Key responsibilities include analyzing new subject areas, evaluating legal frameworks affecting AOK Niedersachsen, and leading cross-departmental projects. A core component of the job is supporting internal financial forecasting for rebate contracts, as well as evaluating and negotiating these contracts, including those arising from nationwide tenders. The ideal candidate is a licensed pharmacist or holds a degree in pharmacy, possessing strong knowledge of pharmacology, basic medical knowledge, and professional experience combined with expertise in contract law and health economics.
