This pivotal role involves the technical leadership of Group ZS C 1 (Information Technology) within the Berlin Senate Chancellery, ensuring the stable and secure operation of all critical IT processes. The incumbent will support the Governing Mayor of Berlin and the 400 staff members in their daily governmental tasks, taking technical responsibility for essential IT infrastructure and operational security. Candidates must possess a relevant Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, or a related IT field, or demonstrate equivalent practical experience in IT operational processes. This position offers an unlimited contract, flexible working hours, home office options, and the opportunity to work for the State of Berlin, contributing directly to the function of the capital city. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, an extended security clearance (SÜ 2) is a mandatory prerequisite.
