Job Summary
This role involves the comprehensive, end-to-end management of AV media technology projects, from detailed technical planning and implementation through to final handover. The Project Manager will serve as the central coordinator, managing communication between clients, specialist planners, internal teams, and suppliers. Key responsibilities include rigorous commercial oversight, such as budget creation, cost tracking, variance analysis (Soll-Ist-Abgleich), and change order management. The ideal candidate possesses a technical background in media technology, electrical engineering, or related fields, coupled with several years of project leadership experience in AV or technical building equipment. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, business acumen, and expertise in audio, video, and conference technology, ensuring the delivery of innovative, compliant, and economically sound solutions for corporate and public sector clients.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical training or degree in Media Technology, Electrical Engineering, Event Technology, Information Technology, or comparable field
Experience
- Several years of experience in project management
- Experience in AV media technology or technical building equipment (Ideally)
- Experience in coordinating assembly and installation teams
