Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and robust security of a critical development platform for Airbus Defence and Space, focusing heavily on Microsoft Windows environments. Day-to-day tasks include managing server, storage, client, and network infrastructure, performing user management, and automating configurations and deployments for both servers and clients. A key responsibility is implementing IT security guidelines based on BSI IT-Grundschutz standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, virtualization (VMware), and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to facilitate automation. This position requires collaboration with internal and external IT service providers, meticulous documentation, and support for project teams regarding technical platform requirements, making it a vital role in maintaining high-availability development environments.
