Job Summary

This role involves operating and maintaining complex Avionics Real-time Integration Group (RIG) test facilities and simulation environments for Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The Test Facility Operations Engineer will be responsible for the daily operation of real-time testing systems, providing crucial support to testers, and rapidly troubleshooting and resolving faults within the test facilities and associated IT infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime. A key part of the job is the independent development, implementation, and integration of system changes and the maintenance of detailed documentation and processes. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification, along with several years of experience in IT and information systems. Essential skills include knowledge of IT/network technology, scripting, and programming languages, coupled with fluency in both German and English to handle technical communication effectively in a demanding aerospace environment.
