Job Summary

This role involves working as a DevOps Engineer for HENSOLDT, a leading global provider of premium sensors for security and surveillance missions, located in Aalen. The core responsibilities include the conception, development, and maintenance of software solutions, alongside the crucial task of developing, optimizing, and maintaining automated build servers and CI/CD pipelines. A significant part of the job is the administration, configuration, and security hardening of Linux systems, specifically using technologies like Docker, Podman, and potentially Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, coupled with professional experience in CI/CD systems (such as Bamboo or Jenkins) and deep knowledge of Linux administration (preferably Arch Linux). This position offers the chance to collaborate closely with developers to streamline deployment processes and utilize modern tools like git, Atlassian, and C++ standards (C17/20).
