Job Summary

This role involves working as a Junior Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) Engineer for the Galileo satellite program at Airbus Defence and Space in Immenstaad. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing functional tests within AIT satellite programs, supporting the creation of test specifications and procedures, and assisting with electrical integration activities. Key tasks include evaluating and preparing test data for customer review, documenting test results, and supporting satellite/instrument operations and configuration analysis. Candidates must hold a degree in Technical Informatics, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent, possess professional experience in functional satellite AIT, and demonstrate fluent German and English skills. Completed degree in Technical Informatics, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in functional satellite AIT
  • Experience with Java is beneficial
  • Experience with TM/TC (PUS) of satellites/instruments is beneficial
  • Experience in satellite communication link encryption is desirable
