Job Summary

This role is ideal for a scientifically or technically trained professional looking to specialize in environmental emissions monitoring. Over an intensive 6-12 month training period, you will acquire comprehensive practical knowledge in emissions measurement, working under the Federal Immission Control Act (§ 29b BImSchG). Day-to-day tasks include preparing for measurements, documenting processes, sampling pollutants, and evaluating results. Post-training, you will independently manage projects, conduct emissions measurements according to relevant standards, analyze data, and create detailed test reports and measurement plans. The position involves significant fieldwork and customer support in the Baden region, requiring physical resilience and comfort working at heights, making it a dynamic and hands-on career in environmental technology and compliance.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in a natural science or technical field (e.g., Environmental Technology or Process Engineering), OR completed technical vocational training (e.g., Chemical-Technical Assistant, Environmental Protection Assistant, Chimney Sweep, or Mechanic)

Experience

  • Professional experience in emissions monitoring or emissions measurement technology (advantageous)
  • Ability to work independently and methodically while adhering to relevant standards, guidelines, and regulations
