Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity as a Network Technician at a major gear manufacturer in Bruchsal, initially through temporary employment with the option for permanent takeover. The primary responsibilities include ensuring the physical network infrastructure is functional, involving the cabling of workstations, laying new network cables, patching, and ordering switches for the site. Furthermore, the technician will manage telecommunications by assigning phone numbers, setting up and configuring desk phones and softphones, and configuring door intercoms. A key aspect of the job is the installation and maintenance of time and access control components, such as card readers and clocking machines. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant qualification, such as an Electrician or IT Systems Electrician certification, possess knowledge in technical and IT environments, and hold a Class B driving license, ensuring smooth operation and troubleshooting of all network and access components.
