Job Summary
The Technical Facility Manager at SIM GmbH, a subsidiary of Stadt-Sparkasse Solingen, ensures the smooth operation and optimal maintenance of commercial, residential, and office properties. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing first-level support for technical malfunctions, coordinating and supervising external contractors (such as maintenance and cleaning services), and managing safety systems like fire alarms and sprinkler systems. The manager will also conduct property inspections, oversee the planning and budgeting of maintenance measures, and act as the main technical contact for tenants and owners. The ideal candidate possesses technical expertise, fundamental understanding of building services, and proven professional experience in technical property management. Required Skills
Education
Completed Technician/Master certification in supply or electrical engineering, or completed degree in Construction/Industrial Engineering, Building Services Technology, or Facility Management
Experience
- Professional experience in technical property management/administration of commercial and residential properties
- Fundamental interdisciplinary understanding of building services technology
- Experience handling construction and maintenance contracts
