Job Summary

This role involves coordinating and managing the implementation of innovative and sustainable energy supply concepts—focusing on heating, cooling, gas, electricity, and digital districts—for the large-scale Urban Tech Republic and Schumacher Quarter development in Berlin. The Project Manager acts as the central interface, coordinating with concessionaires, developers, and various internal and external stakeholders (authorities, utility companies). Key responsibilities include managing contracts (development, concession, usage agreements), overseeing internal budget control, procuring consulting, planning, and construction services according to public procurement law, and developing strategies to enhance the technical, economic, and ecological performance of the supply network. The ideal candidate holds a degree in engineering (e.g., Industrial, Supply, Energy, or Environmental Engineering) and possesses several years of professional experience in implementing infrastructure projects, ideally with specialized knowledge in sustainable heating and cooling supply technology.
