Job Summary

This role involves working as a Project Engineer specializing in High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Control Technology, supporting Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG in Erlangen. The primary focus is on Human-Machine Interface (HMI) system project planning, documentation, and validation. Day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining technical specifications, HMI concepts, and manuals, defining visualization requirements, and configuring HMI software, specifically using Copa Data Zenon. The engineer will also manage the central alarm system, integrate and validate HMI components in test setups, and ensure flawless configuration. Key requirements include a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, proven experience in HMI system project planning, practical knowledge of control technology protocols (IEC 61850, IEC 101/104, OPC), and strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
