Job Summary

This role involves working as a Hardware Engineer for a leading engineering and power plant construction company located in Erlangen. The primary responsibilities include creating manufacturing documentation for control cabinets used in safety control technology, based on qualified hardware platforms. Day-to-day tasks will involve critical calculations, such as determining current consumption, power loss, and voltage drop, and estimating operating temperatures within the cabinets. The engineer will also manage documentation using a dedicated document management system and coordinate closely with manufacturing, testing, and commissioning teams to finalize customer documentation.
