Job Summary

This role involves supporting the operational technology infrastructure for an internationally active technology group, specifically focusing on systems within the emergency call and service control center in Erlangen. The IT Specialist will be responsible for the technical setup, configuration, and commissioning of critical systems, ensuring their smooth operation through proactive administration, maintenance, and monitoring. Key daily tasks include performing system tests, conducting fault analysis for technical disruptions, and maintaining master data within various IT systems. A crucial part of the job involves creating and updating technical documentation and training materials, as well as handling and logging incoming fault reports before escalating them to service technicians. Candidates must possess a completed qualification in System Integration or IT Systems Electronics, coupled with strong technical understanding and initial experience in system integration and IT support. Excellent German language skills and a service-oriented approach are mandatory for success in this on-site position.
