Job Summary

This remote, part-time position seeks a highly precise PCB Designer responsible for the development and construction of reliable printed circuit boards (PCBs) for advanced medical devices, ensuring strict compliance with relevant medical standards such as ISO 13485 and IEC 60601. Daily activities include designing PCB layouts, schematics, and manufacturing documentation using specialized CAD software, and collaborating with electrical engineers to ensure designs meet both electrical and mechanical system requirements. The role also encompasses managing the full production lifecycle, from prototype development through series production, including supplier communication, procurement, and rigorous board-level testing and validation. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of three years of experience in PCB design, ideally within the medical device industry, along with expertise in EMC conformity and certification processes. This opportunity allows a detail-oriented professional to apply deep technical knowledge to critical medical technology while working collaboratively in a flexible, remote setting.
