Job Summary

This part-time, remote role seeks a meticulous PCB Designer to develop high-precision printed circuit boards (PCBs) specifically for medical devices, ensuring strict compliance with standards like ISO 13485 and IEC 60601. The designer will be responsible for the entire design lifecycle, from creating detailed schematics and layouts using CAD software (such as Altium Designer or Eagle) to managing procurement, supplier communication, and coordinating fabrication from prototyping through production. A key aspect of the role involves collaborating closely with electrical engineers, conducting rigorous board-level testing and validation, and providing essential technical support and troubleshooting during the final product maintenance phase. Candidates must possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least three years of experience, ideally within the highly regulated medical device sector, demonstrating expertise in EMC compliance and comprehensive design documentation.
