Job Summary
The Process Technician supports the paper processing team at Jung Papier, a traditional family-owned manufacturer of high-quality hygiene papers in Düsseldorf. This role is crucial for maintaining and optimizing production efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting mechanics with various projects, implementing best practices and centerlining in paper processing, and utilizing process optimization programs to track results and analyze deviations. The technician is also responsible for developing training materials, conducting operator training on best practices, and creating/maintaining packaging specifications and troubleshooting guides. Key qualifications include a completed technical apprenticeship (e.g., electrician, mechanic, or mechatronics technician), ideally supplemented by a Master Craftsman or Technician degree, and strong knowledge of process technology and workshop practices.
