Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive project support for the development and commissioning of unique, innovative welding systems, primarily for the automotive sector. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for creating PLC programming for Siemens controllers, including developing interfaces to higher-level systems and programming user-friendly visualizations using Siemens WinCC/WinCC Flexible and ideally TIA Portal. Day-to-day tasks include conducting program and system tests, supporting the commissioning and modification of systems, and training customer machine operators on the new software. The ideal candidate holds a degree or technician qualification in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, possesses strong team and communication skills, and is comfortable with worldwide travel.
