This role is situated at the Walther-Straub Institute for Pharmacology and Toxicology and aims to precisely investigate the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying primary hyperaldosteronism within the reno-cardiovascular system. The successful candidate will utilize various cell models to identify disease-relevant signaling pathways and explore potential new therapeutic targets. Day-to-day work involves applying a broad spectrum of advanced techniques, including Patch-Clamp electrophysiology, Laser-Scanning Microscopy, FRET, Calcium Imaging, FRAP, and TIRF, complemented by molecular and cell biology methods.
