Job Summary
This role involves the comprehensive administration, installation, configuration, and operation of critical IT infrastructure, including servers, clients, databases, and networks, for the municipal administration and associated public facilities like schools and daycare centers. The administrator will be responsible for providing technical support, managing standard and specialized applications (including updates and new introductions), and ensuring the continuous operation of all hardware and software systems through proactive error analysis and troubleshooting. A key focus is the expansion of the existing infrastructure and adherence to IT usage and security guidelines. Candidates must possess a strong background in virtualization, current Windows operating systems, networking, and data backup strategies, coupled with organizational and communication skills.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist in System Integration or demonstrable equivalent skills and knowledge.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in server administration
- Professional experience in managing network and server landscapes
