Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Finance Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of daily financial affairs. You will hold responsibility for managing the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial accounting. A key focus is regulatory compliance, requiring you to prepare periodic financial statements in strict adherence to SWISS GAAP FER and the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR), alongside handling VAT settlements and tax declarations. You will also manage fixed asset accounting, contribute to budgeting and mid-term planning, and analyze key financial indicators. The position is highly attractive as it involves active participation in digitalization and process optimization projects within the finance department, offering a chance to shape future workflows. Furthermore, you will serve as the deputy to the Head of Finance, providing significant responsibility and growth potential. Candidates must possess completed commercial training and advanced finance qualifications, coupled with multi-year experience in accounting and strong proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.

Required Skills

Education

Completed commercial training combined with advanced professional education in finance or fiduciary services (e.g., Federal Diploma or equivalent, or currently pursuing)

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
  • Comprehensive knowledge in preparing financial statements according to SWISS GAAP FER and the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
  • Experience utilizing SAP systems is advantageous
