Job Summary
This role is seeking an experienced Protection Technician to join a team focused on the construction, maintenance, and operation of electrical power distribution networks. Key responsibilities include performing maintenance, repairs, and commissioning of electrical networks and associated systems, specifically focusing on protection technology and control systems. The technician will conduct switching operations up to 20 kV, perform fault location using modern measuring devices, and take on the role of Work and Plant Manager according to DIN VDE 0105 standards. A crucial part of the job involves parameterizing and testing protective devices, diagnosing faults, and ensuring the technical documentation is completed using standard IT systems. The ideal candidate must have a completed education in electrical engineering, practical experience in protection technology and commissioning switchgear, and be prepared for on-call duty and continuous professional development.

Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, ideally as a Master Electrician or Electrical Engineering Technician, or a degree in Electrical Engineering
