The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety equipment checks, and performing critical functions like fire watch and gas/air measurements (Freimessungen), depending on training. A key part of the job is identifying potential hazards, initiating emergency alarms according to the established chain of command, and leading rescue operations when necessary. This position welcomes career changers (Quereinsteiger) and requires physical fitness, willingness to travel extensively nationwide, and a high level of proficiency in the German language (C1).
