Job Summary

This role involves defining and implementing data governance and compliance strategies, primarily utilizing the Microsoft Purview ecosystem. The Data Engineer will be responsible for deriving requirements for Microsoft Purview based on regulatory and internal guidelines, classifying data, and defining subsequent protection measures, including encryption. Key daily tasks include implementing and monitoring Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies, conducting regular controls and reporting on data leakage and access monitoring, and supporting the technical implementation and development within the Microsoft 365 Purview environment. The ideal candidate possesses expert knowledge of Microsoft Compliance Tools, a deep understanding of Microsoft architecture (Entra, Azure, Microsoft 365 Services), and familiarity with legal requirements like GDPR and ISO 27001.
