Job Summary

This role involves acting as a key developer and technical expert for Automatic Train Operations (ATO) systems within Siemens Mobility, focusing on reliable and efficient rail operations for various vehicle types, from subways to high-speed trains. The successful candidate will independently analyze complex customer requirements, adapt the ATO system for optimal integration into overall solutions, and drive continuous innovation by developing and implementing sophisticated, customized functions. A core part of the job is coordinating international stakeholders as the main contact person for the ATO system in customer projects, managing complex interfaces, and ensuring timely project delivery. Furthermore, the role involves steering multiple parallel projects, setting priorities, and actively mentoring junior colleagues, contributing to the establishment of best practices and continuous improvement of development processes. This position requires a strong technical background in engineering, extensive professional experience in autonomous systems development, and expertise in control systems and railway technology.
