Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Test Engineer specializing in Avionics and Defense technology, based in Munich, supporting the development of military radio equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive EMC and environmental simulations, ensuring the functionality and data integrity of military airborne radio devices. You will be crucial in creating qualification processes, designing, commissioning, and automating test facilities, utilizing tools like Python for test automation. A key part of the job involves drafting customer-ready qualification test procedures and reports, managing test campaigns, and ensuring compliance with RS standards, aviation norms, and customer quality requirements. The ideal candidate holds a degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or Communications Technology, possesses professional experience in test and measurement tasks, and has knowledge of Avionics radio devices (e.g., RTCA/DO160, MIL-STD-461/810).
