Job Summary
This role is an exciting opportunity to join one of Europe's leading air rescue organizations, DRF Luftrettung, specializing in rapid emergency air rescue and patient transport using state-of-the-art helicopters (H135, H145) and ambulance jets. Based at the EASA Part 145 certified maintenance facility in Rheinmünster (Baden-Airpark), the Aircraft Avionics Technician is responsible for performing electronic and electrical maintenance and repair work on aircraft and components. Key duties include meticulous documentation of all executed tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards (MOE procedures), checking tool calibration and completeness, and actively participating in the optimization and development of maintenance workflows. The ideal candidate must have a completed electrical trade qualification, high motivation, and good written and spoken English skills, with prior aviation experience being advantageous but not mandatory, making this an excellent career transition opportunity.
