Job Summary

The City of LE is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join the Urban Green Spaces, Environment, and Traffic Infrastructure team. This crucial role involves planning and managing various infrastructure projects, including road, path, and hydraulic engineering measures, as well as road maintenance. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and managing tenders according to VOB/A, B, and UVgO regulations, awarding engineering contracts (HOAI), and coordinating the city-wide fiber optic network expansion. A key focus will be developing strategies to mitigate the consequences of heavy rainfall events and contributing to the city's construction site management system and mobility concept implementation. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in traffic, road, or underground construction, possesses knowledge of current regulations, procurement law, and is proficient in CAD/GIS software.
