Job Summary

This role is for a Data Scientist specializing in analyzing test and process data generated during the production of advanced defense systems (Radar, Electronic Warfare, Avionics) at HENSOLDT, a leading European defense technology company. Joining the Test Software team in Ulm, the candidate will be crucial in developing and integrating solutions for the digital management and accessibility of large production datasets. Key responsibilities include developing API interfaces and analysis routines using Python, integrating new data sources into the existing analysis framework, and defining/documenting standardized APIs. The role requires strong collaboration with technical departments for problem and error analysis, and the ability to handle work packages independently. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics, professional experience with Python development, data management, and familiarity with SAP and MES. This position offers the opportunity to drive innovation through data fusion and AI within the defense sector, requiring excellent German and English skills and a willingness to undergo security clearance.
