Job Summary

This leadership role is within one of Europe's largest bank IT service providers, focusing on driving digital banking solutions. The Department Manager will provide both technical and disciplinary leadership for a team overseeing Output Management workflows within the Mainframe environment (z/OS). Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the development, maintenance, and deployment of batch processes, administering relevant tools, and actively consulting clients. A core component of the role is product ownership for 'Beta93,' including creating business plans, managing annual budgets, and coordinating requirements with application development units. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Business Informatics or a comparable qualification, coupled with strong leadership skills, proven experience in output management topics, and practical experience leading teams in highly regulated environments with strict service level agreements. This position requires high resilience, initiative, and a willingness to travel, operating primarily from Hannover, Münster, or Frankfurt am Main.
