Job Summary
This critical role involves driving and implementing the digitalization strategy within the Bitterfeld-Wolfen city administration. The Digitalization Officer will serve as the central point of contact for all digitalization matters, coordinating diverse projects such as the implementation of the Online Access Act (Onlinezugangsgesetz), the introduction of new specialized applications, and overseeing the e-file project. Key responsibilities include creating, evaluating, and updating the administration's digitalization strategy, managing project groups, and performing market observation of e-Government programs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Informatics or a related field, strong organizational skills, and experience in project, process, and change management. Required Skills
Education
Undergraduate degree in Informatics, Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, Administrative Digitalization, Digital Administration, or a comparable field. Alternatively, a degree in Administrative Science or Business Administration, or qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service (or equivalent training/certification II) with demonstrable IT knowledge (digitalization).
Experience
- Professional experience in digitalization implementation within administration (implied)
- Experience in coordinating diverse digitalization projects (e.g., OZG, e-Akte)
- Knowledge in Project, Process, and Change Management (desirable)
