Job Summary

This role is designed for a (Junior) Electrical Engineer seeking qualification as an Electrical Engineering Construction Supervisor for DB Energie GmbH in Munich. As a key contributor to maintaining Germany's critical rail infrastructure, you will spend approximately 80% of your time outdoors on construction sites, overseeing project realization from a technical, quality, and budgetary perspective. Day-to-day tasks include supervising construction firms, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards, controlling and documenting the construction process, and verifying quantity calculations, including claims management. You will also coordinate the legally compliant disposal of demolition materials and strictly enforce operational safety and accident prevention protocols on site. The position includes a comprehensive 2 to 2.5-year functional training program covering construction/contract law and acquiring essential certifications, such as switching authorizations for 50 Hz / 16.7 Hz / DC systems, making this an ideal path for recent graduates or qualified technicians ready for a challenging and vital infrastructure oversight career.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology, or State-certified Technician or Certified Industrial Master Craftsman in Electrical Engineering (Alternative qualification)
