Job Summary
The City of Nidda is seeking a dedicated Project Manager for Civil Engineering to lead their technical team and oversee critical infrastructure projects. This role involves the technical leadership of the Civil Engineering department, managing two technical staff and four water workers. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent handling of tendering, planning, and execution processes for civil engineering, road construction, water pipe construction, bridge construction, and water body projects. A key focus is managing the municipal drinking water infrastructure and coordinating all communal civil engineering measures, serving as the technical and contractual point of contact for external engineering firms. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Civil Engineering, proven experience in implementing civil engineering projects, expertise in drinking water supply and DVGW guidelines, and strong leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills. Required Skills
Education
Completed (Technical) University degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Civil Engineering (B.Eng./M.Eng. or B.Sc./M.Sc.) or equivalent qualification.
